There are a number of ways to protect your content using WL Member.
The most popular (and what you will want to use for providing “teaser” content”) is by using the “more tag”.
To do this, you’ll need to activate this feature in the “Settings” section.

Then to use this in a post, you simply go to “Write – Post” and enter the content you would like everyone to see first, then add a “more tag”. Then enter the content you would like protected after the more tag (shown in the screen shot below):
The next step is to scroll down to the “Advanced Options” which is located just below where you would write your post. There you will see the options for deciding who has access to the content.

By following these steps, you’ll be able to display teaser content before the more tag and everything after it will be protected for the members you decided to give access to.
If however you DO NOT want to display “teaser” content, then you would protect the entire post or page in the post/page settings as I explained above.

Secondly, you would then go to your main WL Member Settings and make sure that you have the Hide/Show feature checked to “Yes”.

That way, they would need to be logged in to even see what content they have access to.
